on ubiquitous cones

with 11 comments

fact: i woke up this morning with a construction cone on my car (the incredible lebaron.)

fact: i then saw them everywhere (often oddly placed) throughout the day. i think i actually encountered more cones than people.

maybe it’s an indication that i’m meant for the construction world.

sheesh, with my life, you never know.

do you ever have days like this, on which you see things (that you’d never formerly paid much attention to) again and again?

it’s just bizarre.

goodbye for now. i love you, oh cylindrical ones.

  4. Got those little cones all over the place here. Dallas is going through a rezoning rebuilding frenzy. Just getting to work on time takes careful planning. EEEEEK!!!!

  6. maybe it means you are to be cautious… or maybe it means a bunch of people stole cones and stuck them everywhere. i love the pics too. very awesome!

how did you (yes you) manage to put the cone up on the building? (i’m on to that same greasy blackened look they all have…)
or maybe you just have your eyes open/cone huntin’?

  9. Kenz,

Very funny, great series. But as much as I love you, I must add: please do NOT go into the construction world. You wouldn’t last there – and neither would the buildings, I have a feeling….

    Love you!
